Loved the original movie!

I love the storyline in Billy Elliott. So many of us have the stereotypical idea of what is acceptable for male children to be interested in as an activity. It is deemed to be ok for our sons to play any “sport” from golf to soccer to baseball and physical as football, as long as it is perceived to be masculine. Dancing has in many arenas been considered to be too artsy, too feminine, too sissy. Most people don’t understand the grueling, painful, time consuming and extreme exercise involved in ballet/dance. While ballet is artsy and willowy, it is a pretty heavy duty “sport” as well. As a Mom of a child that embraced this path, I would love to see the Musical Billy Elliott as it is the story of acceptance and appreciation.

I’d love tickets
